A book that opens out into a fan of warm light
Mounts under a shelf or sits on a desk — your choice
Frees up the bedside table completely
Closes back into a book shape when you are not using it

The bedside table is never big enough.

A lamp base, a book, a glass of water and the reading glasses — something always ends up on the floor. This one opens out above the clutter and folds away to the size of a paperback.

Nothing taking up the whole table top
Nothing glaring straight into your eyes
Nothing that looks like a gadget when it is closed

What you are getting

Fan-out pages

The pages spread into a half circle, which is what gives the soft fan of light.

Warm even glow

Light through the leaves rather than a bare bulb, so there is no hard spot or glare.

Shelf or desk

Mount it under a shelf to free the surface below, or stand it on a desk as it is.

Folding book lamp · warm light · opens out and closes flat

What customers are saying

★★★★★

Norma J., Stoke

"It got the lamp off my bedside table entirely. I did not expect to care about that as much as I do."

★★★★★

Pamela C., Guildford

"The light through the pages is beautifully soft. No glare at all, which is why I use it every night."

★★★★★

Beryl H., Rotherham

"Closed up it just looks like a book on the shelf. My husband did not even notice it was a lamp."

Common questions

Is it bright enough to read by?

It gives a broad soft light rather than a focused beam — lovely for the room and for winding down, but a task lamp is better for small print.

Does it have to go on a wall?

No. It works mounted under a shelf or simply standing open on a desk or table.

Does it fold flat?

Yes — the pages close back together so it sits on a shelf looking like an ordinary book.

How do I clean it?

A soft dry brush between the leaves. Nothing wet on the pages.

What if it is not right?

You have 30 days to return it — just get in touch and we will sort it out.
