★★★★★ 4.8 · 50,000+ reviews

Shaped like a book, so it stands in the row rather than on top of it
A tiny snowman scene inside, lit from within and filled with falling glitter
Soft golden light that makes the whole shelf look warm
Slim enough to slot between hardbacks without rearranging anything

Shelf ornaments always cost you a book's worth of space.

This one does not. It is the thickness of a hardback and stands exactly where a hardback would, which is why it looks as though it belongs there rather than being added on.

Nothing to balance on top of the row
Nothing with a cable trailing across the shelf front
Nothing so bright it takes over the room

What you are getting

Book-shaped case

Clear-sided and slim, so it slots into the row and lights the spines on either side.

Snowman scene

A little snowman under falling glitter, set against a soft lit background.

Warm internal light

A gentle golden glow rather than a bright white one — it reads as candlelight on the shelf.

Book-shaped lamp with internal scene · warm light · stands upright between books

What customers are saying

★★★★★

Christine P., Lancaster

"It sits between my Christmas books and you would think it came as part of the set. Everyone asks about it."

★★★★★

Hilary S., Exeter

"I did not expect the glitter to look as good as it does lit up. It is quite mesmerising in a dark room."

★★★★★

Val N., Stirling

"Bought one, then two more for my sisters. Lovely thing to give that is not another candle."

Common questions

Does it stand up on its own?

Yes — it is shaped and weighted like a book, so it stands upright in the row without leaning.

How bright is it?

A soft accent glow for the shelf, not room lighting. It is at its best in a dim room in the evening.

Is it only for Christmas?

The scene is wintry, so most customers bring it out from late autumn — but plenty leave it up all year.

How do I clean it?

A soft dry cloth on the outside. Nothing wet and nothing abrasive on the clear panels.

What if it is not right?

You have 30 days to return it — just get in touch and we will sort it out.
