Which colour, and will your phone fit?
Two questions, both easy. The bag takes any smartphone up to 6.5 inches — that is every current iPhone and Samsung, including the Pro and Plus sizes, and it still closes with a slim case on. If you can hold your phone comfortably in one hand, it fits.
Colour is the only real decision, so here is how the eight actually behave:
Black
The one most people order. Goes with a winter coat, shows nothing, never looks out of place.
Brown
Softer than black and warmer against camel, cream and navy. The one to pick if your shoes are tan.
Grey

Questions people ask first
Does the touchscreen really work through the window?
Yes, and it's the thing people are most sceptical about before they buy. You can type, swipe, scroll and answer calls straight through the clear panel, and fingerprint unlock works through it too. The only thing that doesn't is a screen protector with a very thick raised lip — and even then you'd just open the flap.
Will my phone fit?
Anything up to 6.5 inches, which covers every current iPhone and Samsung including the Pro Max and Ultra sizes, and it still closes with a slim case fitted. A thick rugged case is the only one that's tight.
Is the strap long enough?
Yes — it's fully adjustable and detachable, and it goes long enough to sit comfortably across the body on any build. It arrives packed inside the bag so it doesn't get creased in transit, so do check in there before you think one is missing.
How much actually fits in it?
Phone, four cards, notes and coins, a key and a lipstick, comfortably. A small passport fits too. It is deliberately not a handbag — the point is that it holds what you need for two hours out and nothing else.
Will it survive the rain?
The vegan leather is water-resistant, so a shower beads off and wipes away. It isn't waterproof, so don't leave it out in a downpour, but a walk home in British drizzle does it no harm at all.
How do I clean it?
A damp cloth and a dry one after. Nothing else, and no polish or solvent — the finish doesn't need it and harsh cleaners will dull the window.
Does it work as a gift?
It's one of the easiest things in the shop to give, because there's no size to get wrong. Black and brown are the safe choices; green and red are the ones people are pleased by.
