Two strands wound by hand
The two strands are wound together one over the other rather than pressed into shape, so the twist runs continuously round the band instead of repeating in identical machine-cut sections.
Six magnets, set flush
There are six small magnets seated into the band, level with the surface, spaced along it. They're a construction detail: they sit flush so there's nothing to feel against the wrist and nothing standing proud to catch on a sleeve. We make no health or wellbeing claims for them at all.
99.9% pure copper, no nickel
One metal through the band, with nothing plated over it and no nickel in it. Copper is also naturally antimicrobial as a metal — that's a property of the material itself, and we make no claim about what it does for you.

Common questions
What are the magnets for?
They're part of how the bracelet is made, and nothing more than that. Six of them are seated flush into the band so the surface stays level and there's nothing to press against your wrist. We want to be straight with you: we make no health, therapeutic or wellbeing claims for them. Properly conducted trials of magnetic jewellery have not found an effect, and we're not going to suggest otherwise to sell a bracelet.
Will it turn my wrist green?
It can leave a faint green tint on some people, and we'd rather tell you now. It's the copper reacting with the natural acids on your skin — harmless, a mark rather than a rash, and it washes off with soap and water in a few seconds. Warm weather and hand cream both make it more likely. A thin coat of clear lacquer inside the band cuts it right down if you'd rather not have it.
Is there any nickel in it?
No. It's 99.9% pure copper with no plating over the top. Nickel is the most common jewellery contact allergen there is, and there's none in this piece.
Will the stones come loose?
They're set into the metal where the two strands meet rather than glued onto the surface, which is the usual reason stones go missing from inexpensive bracelets. Treat it sensibly — off for heavy work, the same as any bracelet — and they stay put.
What size should I order?
One size, and you adjust it. The band is open at the back: ease the ends apart for a looser fit or press them gently together for a closer one, a little at a time. No clasp, and you can do it one-handed.
