The copper dots run in two clean rows down the centre of the band. They give it structure without covering it, and because they sit in the middle rather than at the edges they don't catch on a cuff or a sleeve.

Common questions
A wide band — does that mean a bigger green mark?
It can mean a slightly larger one, so here is the straight answer. Copper reacts with the acids and salts naturally on skin, and some people get a faint green tint underneath. It is harmless — a mark, not a rash — and soap and water take it off in seconds. A wide cuff covers more skin, so if it happens to you it will show across more of the wrist. Warm weather and hand cream make it likelier. A thin coat of clear lacquer painted on the inside face reduces it considerably, and can be redone whenever it wears thin.
Does copper do anything for stiff or aching wrists?
No. Copper bracelets have been tested in randomised, placebo-controlled trials and no effect was found. We'd rather tell you and lose the sale. This is a well-made nickel-free cuff that goes on one-handed — that is what you are buying, and it is enough.
Won't something this wide be uncomfortable?
