Somebody decided anklets have an age limit. They were wrong.

Common questions
Will it leave a green mark round my ankle?
It may well, and we'd far rather tell you now. Copper reacts with the acids that are naturally in your skin, and that reaction can leave a faint green tint where the metal sits. It does no harm at all — it is a mark, not a rash — and a few seconds with soap and water removes it. An ankle in warm weather is a likelier place to see it than a wrist. The clear lacquer on the inner faces keeps it down, and drying the piece after a hot day helps a great deal.
What do the 21 magnets actually do?
Nothing for your body, and we won't suggest otherwise. Magnetic jewellery has been tested in randomised, placebo-controlled trials in exactly the same way copper has, and it performed no better than jewellery with dummy magnets — no effect on pain, inflammation, circulation or wellbeing. The magnets here are part of how the piece is made. They are not a treatment for anything, and nor is the copper.
I have a pacemaker. Is it safe to wear?
This piece contains magnets, and magnets can interfere with pacemakers, implanted defibrillators, insulin pumps and other implanted medical devices. If you or the person you're buying for has any implanted device, please check with your cardiologist or the device manufacturer before wearing it, and keep it away from the device in the meantime. How long is it — will it fit my ankle?

I react to costume jewellery. Will this be different?
The metal is copper and has no nickel in it, and nickel is behind the large majority of jewellery reactions. Copper itself troubles a small number of people, so if you've never worn it, try a short wear before a full day in the sun.
How do I look after it?
Dry it properly after a warm day or a swim, and keep it out of the water where you can — chlorine and salt both speed up the darkening. A soft cloth is usually enough; for a proper clean, lemon juice and a pinch of salt on a cloth over the panels works well, then rinse and dry fully. Store it away from anything with a magnetic strip, such as bank cards.
Can I return it?
