Is it true that copper can leave a green mark?
Yes, it can, and we say so plainly rather than hoping you don't notice. The natural acids in your skin react with the metal and can leave a pale green tint where the band rests. It does no harm whatsoever — it is a mark on the skin, not a rash — and it comes away with soap and water in a matter of seconds. Some people never get it; others see it in summer.
